Time tracking on Thera streamlines the entire workflow of logging hours to payment processing, making it easier for both contractors and admins to manage time-based work. This article covers everything you need to know about using Thera's time-tracking feature.
For Admins
Getting set up
Create a Time Tracking Contract
Navigate to the team page and click on Add Contractor
Select "Time Tracking" as the contract type
Provide the contractor details
Define hourly rates and configure the pay cycle
Select contract and compliance info
Once the contract is set up, invite the contractor to join Thera.
The contractor will receive an email to onboard and set up their account.
After onboarding, they’ll have access to the time tracking features.
Approving a timesheet
When a contractor attaches their timesheet to their invoice, you'll be able to review the contractor's time entries and approve/deny them.
Once done, the invoice will be available to pay.
For Contractors
Clocking in and Clocking out
You can clock in and log your hours, and create new time entries. All time entries will be listed in a calendar view or a list view and this can be broken down by week, month or day.
You can select it the time entry is Billable or Non Billable
Attaching Timesheets to Invoices
You can submit your invoices and attach time sheets from your contracts section
Go to the contract
Select a date range
Select the Attach Timesheet tab
Select all the time entries that you need to attach to the invoice
Submit the invoice and the invoice will be ready for approval/payment
