Step 1: Initiate KYC Verification
If the verification is pending, it should appear on the home page.
You can also navigate to Payroll > Compliance to begin the verification.
A QR code should appear on the next screen, scan the QR code with your mobile device (KYC can only be done on mobile) and follow the link. See video reference here
The KYC process is divided into two steps: ID Verification and Selfie Check.
Step 2: ID Verification
Select the country where your ID was issued.
Choose the document type:
Driver’s License
Resident ID
Voter ID
National ID
Passport
Capture the front and back of the ID.
Note: Ensure the writing on the ID is clearly visible. You can retake each photo if necessary.
Step 3: Selfie Check
Ensure you are in a well-lit environment.
Capture a selfie that clearly shows your full face.
It is advisable to use your most recent ID to ensure a match between your selfie and the ID photo (if applicable).
Remove any hat, glasses or facemask while taking the photo.
Step 4: Review & Response
Once completed, you will receive a response on your Thera account, either Verified or Declined.
If declined, try the following:
Use a different browser or different mobile device.
Ensure your full face is captured in the selfie.
Retake ID photos if they were unclear.
If the issue persists, contact [email protected] with a clear copy of your ID for further assistance.
